Why warm up the engine before the trip?

It’s definitely a good idea to give the engine some time for it to get warmed up before you start driving. Of course this doesn’t mean spending half an hour in your car to wait for it to warm up, but especially when its wintertime, it may take a few minutes for the engine to warm up appropriately. This way you help enlarge the lifespan of your car’s engine and make driving a much better experience. Letting the engine warm up is just like a coffee in the morning for you, before you start working. Give it some more time when the outer temperature is below zero.
